As a copywriter for Inside Then Out, you will play a crucial role in developing persuasive and engaging written content that effectively communicates the brand's values, benefits, and unique selling points. You will be responsible for creating compelling copy for various digital platforms, including email campaigns, blog posts, brand's website, social media content, and advertising materials. You will collaborate closely with the social and marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing: Write engaging copy for email newsletters, product launches, and sales. Ensure that the email content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and messaging.
  • Blog Writing: Research, ideate, and write well-crafted blog articles on a wide range of wellness topics, such as healing, mindfulness, self-care, journaling, and mental health. Produce informative and engaging content that aligns with the brand's mission and resonates with our target audience.
  • SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant topics and optimize blog articles for search engine visibility. 
  • Conducting Interviews: Collaborate with experts, creators, and customers to conduct interviews and gather valuable insights and perspectives related to wellness topics. 
  • Brand Voice and Tone: Develop and maintain the brand's unique voice and tone across all written content, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand's values and target audience. Infuse the copy with the brand's personality to build an emotional connection with our community.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of blog articles, including traffic, engagement metrics, and conversion rates. Use insights to identify successful content strategies and optimize future articles for better results.
  • Storytelling: Develop engaging narratives and stories around the brand, its products, and its mission to captivate and connect with the audience on an emotional level.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and social team to develop effective copy for paid and organic social
  • Proofreading and Editing: Review and revise all copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Market and Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with wellness industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights to create content that resonates with the target audience and differentiates the brand in the market.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the wellness, health, or lifestyle industry. A portfolio demonstrating strong writing skills and experience in copywriting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research tools to optimize content for search engines.
  • Proficiency in crafting compelling narratives and storytelling to create emotional connections with the target audience.
  • Strong research skills and ability to gather information about mental health and wellness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicate effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt writing style to match various platforms and target audiences.
  • Passion for wellness, mental health, and journaling.
